About Nature's Concepts ....

I have always had an interest in woodworking and that passion continues today. I began building log furniture in 2002 creating unique pieces of rustic furniture that is not readily on the market. I personally design and build all pieces to assure high character and quality craftsmanship.

I have designed rustic and log furniture utilizing Northern White Cedar, Western Red Cedar, Pine, White Birch, Alder and weathered barn wood. I also have made furniture using an Early American stain with Birch bark, Birch twigs and pine cones. For the more "extreme" outdoorsman, I have built several pieces with Willow trees chewed down by Beavers, I have incorporated Branches with actual bird nest attached and have used real hornet nests. If there is a particular material or species that you prefer, I'll find it!

I thoroughly enjoy creating unique pieces for the customer that wants something that stands apart from the rest of the manufactured log look.
